We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.
Mark Morgan, owner/funeral director has 20 years of experience caring for families from all walks of life.
Families come to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.
When we sit down with a family, we desire to create a fitting, memorable and affordable service for their loved one. Together, we explore the wide variety of services and products available, as well as a wealth of creative ideas and suggestions. We will do our best to be sure to live by our motto - "a life lived is a life worth remembering."
Together, we'll design a memorial or funeral service that suits families needs now, and in the future. Families who come to us know that years from now, they will have deep peace-of-mind; because in coming to us, they've done their best to honor their loved one.
Our History
In 1927, the W. A. Lauffer family built this Spanish-Moorish style home during the oil boom days in Bremen. They had come to Bremen from the oil fields near New Matamoras, Ohio to do drilling for the Carter Oil Company. He secured several good leases and drilled many good wells. In 1930 he started Lauffer Supply Company. The Laufer's lived and raised their family here until 1945 when Franklin Snyder purchased this unique property and opened his funeral business using these facilities. He raised his family in this home and in 1987 sold the property and business-Snyder Funeral Home to the Sheridan family in Lancaster, Ohio. These Sheridans operated the business until the mid-90's and sold the business to their cousin Larry Sheridan who operated his main funeral home location out of Thornville, Ohio. In 2008, Mark and Sherri Morgan purchased the property and business Snyder-Sheridan Funeral Home from Larry Sheridan and his son, Craig Sheridan. In the years since the purchase, their focus has been on completely renovating, remodeling and improving on every aspect of not only the building, but on services provided. Much has been accomplished and there is more still to do.

Bill & Jane Morgan, Assistants
Bill & V. Jane are the parents of Mark Morgan and give him a helping hand whenever they can; whether it be parking cars, cleaning or administrative task. They are always willing to give it their best. Bill was instrumental in completing so much of the renovations that took place on the facility and Jane's touch can be seen in many of the stitching on the curtains and sheers now adorning the windows. Their support is invaluable. Bill is a 1957 graduate of Rushcreek Memorial High School and Jane a 1958 graduate of Jackson High School. They lived in Bremen, Lancaster and currently reside in the country just east of Crossenville, Ohio.
