William “Bill” Lecrone, 75, of Bremen, Ohio, passed away Tuesday evening in the Pickering House. He was born July 15, 1935 in Lancaster, Ohio, the son of Willard and Elizabeth (Eck) Lecrone. Bill loved motorcycle and bicycle riding, woodworking, fishing and golf. He was a faithful and devout Christian; baptized at the Church of Christ and a member of Bremen United Methodist Church. Bill retired in 1997 from Lancaster Electro Plating after 31 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, Donnie Lee Lecrone. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia “Patty” (Leach) Lecrone; two sons, Billy Joe (Tara) Lecrone and Jeffery Lynn (Charlotte) Lecrone; five brothers, Dick (Colleen)Lecrone, Fred (Ann) Lecrone, Carl (Jeannette) Lecrone, Will (Cindy) Lecrone and Gary (Sharon) Lecrone; three sisters, Helen (Leo) Kunkler, Pat (Tom) Hanna, Lois (Ed) Loraditch; four grandchildren, Bobbi Jo, Billy Joe Jr., Kalyn Michele (Bob) Shover and Kimberly Marie; one great-granddaughter, Abby Rose Lecrone; numerous nieces and nephews. 2 - 4 and 6 – 8 PM in the Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort St. Bremen, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM in the Bremen United Methodist Church with Rev. Deborah Nance officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden. Contributions may be made in Bill’s memory to Pickering House/Fairhope Hospice.
