William Marcus Hammock

William Marcus Hammock, 93, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2016. He was a 1941 graduate of North High School and a graduate of Ohio State University. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corp serving in WWII. Bill was loved and lived a life of service to church, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty; son-in-law, Joe Sali; brother, Barney Hammock; and sister, Marguerite Chandler. He is survived by his daughters, Linda (Mike) Kochenderfer and Cheryl Sali; grandchildren, Justin (Michelle) Sali, Jessie (Paul) Werther, Nadina Sali and Michael (Veronica) Evans; great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Sali, Hope Sali, Emily Werther, Maiya Evans, James Earnhart, Carl Werther, Alexis Kochenderfer, Dalton, Faith and Destiny Sali; brother-in-law, Dick (Margie) Patzer; and loving nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Sunday, August 21st from 4 -5:30 PM at Trinity United Church of Christ, 1180 Shanley Drive, Columbus, Ohio with services following at 5:30. Graveside services and military honors will be at Union Cemetery on Monday, August 22nd at 10:30 AM.
