William Lee Brown was born September 2, 1939, to Carl and Loretta Brown. He died peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at his home in Laguna Niguel, California. He was known as 'Bill' and was married to the love of his life, Sharon, for 60 years, before she passed away on December of 2021.

Bill, along with his brother, Bob grew up in Columbus, Ohio. Bill and Sharon both graduated from Whitehall Yearling High School, and they were high school sweethearts. They both attended Ohio State University. Bill went on to receive a Master’s Degree at Texas A&M.


Bill worked as an aerospace engineer for over 40 years. The Brown's moved to California in the early 60's. Then they moved to Texas for about 17 years before moving back to California in the early 80's.

He is survived by his son, Mark; daughter-in- law, Bella; youngest son, Michael; and grandson, Kellen. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sharon; and his brother, Bob.

Bill was an avid, life-long fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and truly enjoyed watching the games with family. Another of his passions was being the original owner of a 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang, which he proudly purchased at the World's Fair.


A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 2 PM at the Grandview Cemetery in Bremen, Ohio followed by a reception. Bill will be laid to rest with his beloved wife.
