Trina S. (Thorne) Boyer, 54, died Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the Pickering House. She was born February 5, 1970 in Zanesville, Ohio to Willam Edward Hines and Jean (Saum) Williams.
Trina was employed at Fairfield Medical Center for 28 years as a secretary and was well respected by her peers. She was the rock of her family and loved them dearly in word and deed.
Trina is survived by her husband of 34 years, Donald E. Boyer, whom she married on January 20, 1990; daughter, Kayla Boyer; grandchildren, Tevan, Taelynn, Kadance, K’irie, Kinley and Calyx; mother, Jean; sisters, Theresa (Jon) Brown and Billie Hines; brother, Thomas Thorne; half-sisters, Christy Kinser and Lisa Jones, both from Jasper, Alabama; daughter-in-law, Brittanie; brothers-in-law, Bryan (Susan) and Ronald (Leslie) Boyer; and sister-in-law, Michelle Mollett; 5 nephews, Daulten, Braiden, Aiden, Bryce and Ansen; and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; step-father, Dannie Williams; son, Jordan Boyer; nephew, Ryan “Roscoe” Thorne.
A time to visit with Trina’s family will be Sunday, September 8th from 2 – 6 PM at Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 9th at 10 AM in the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at New Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery, Junction City, Ohio. Contributions in Trina’s memory may be made to Fairhope Hospice.
