A proud graduate of Lancaster High School, Tim dedicated 40 years of his life to Anchor Hocking, where he served as a supervisor and earned the admiration of his colleagues. After retirement, he continued to serve his community as an associate pastor at the River Valley Life Center, a place he and his soulmate, Betty, called home for 31 years. For 11 joyful years, he led a vibrant ministry called The
Seenagers, where he touched countless lives with his warm smile and the light of Jesus that radiated from within him.

Tim was married to his beloved wife, Betty J.
Shugert (His Bride), for an incredible 62 years, 7 months, and 28 days. Together, they celebrated the lives of their four wonderful children, Nickolas (Janice) Shugert, Toni (Kevin) Tooill, Thomas Shugert, and Theresa (Ty) Smith. He was the cherished grandfather of eight, including Tim (Michelle), Tiffany (Devon), Andy (Megan), Levi (Kiara), Gabe (Breanna), Isaiah (Micah), James (Katlyn) and Cassie (Robert), and a proud great-grandfather to 10. Tim also leaves behind his two brothers, Michael and Terry, his two sisters, Robin and Beverly, and countless extended family members who will forever hold him in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents; Harold Jr. and JoAnn Shugert; grandparents, Elmer Mowery and Grace Delong; and 2 aunts.

A celebration of Tim's life will take place on Saturday, October 3rd, at 12 PM at the River Valley Life Center, located at 2190 Coonpath Road NW, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
