Stanley Lee Woodside, 69, of Rushville, died peacefully at home on Thursday, March 31, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born April 6, 1946 in Lancaster, Ohio the son of the late Jim and Bernice Woodside. Stanley was a 1965 graduate of Fairfield Union High School and had worked for Crane Plastic. He was an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Sandy Shull Woodside, whom he married April 8, 1969; daughters, Deb (Stacy) Carpenter and Ann (Chad) Kistler; sons, Jay Woodside, Ray (Alison) Woodside and Brian (Tonya) Woodside; grandchildren, Megan Garren, JT Garren, Amber Coakley, Dylan Coakley, Ryley Woodside, Alexis Woodside, Colin Woodside, Austin Woodside, Landon Woodside, Brylee Woodside; great – grandson, Kaesen Coakely; brothers, Jim (Carolyn) Woodside and Tom Woodside (partner Sue); sisters, Ruth (Gary) Rossell, Betty Woodside (partner Mike), Brenda (Doug) Miller and Mary Kunkler; sister-in-law, Lou Ann Woodside and many nieces and nephew. He was preceded in death by brother, Nevin Woodside; sisters, Carol Ebbrecht and Cheryl Louise Woodside.
A time to visit with Stanley’s family will take place Tuesday, April 5 from 2 – 4 and
