Shanna Lynn (Bussart) Nash, 49, of Lancaster, was called to her Heavenly Home on February 27, 2023 at the Pickering House. Shanna was born August 10, 1973 in Lancaster the daughter of Ben Bussart and Ann Judy.
Shanna was a graduate of Berne Union High School, Class of 92’, where she was active in the marching and concert band, softball and baseball teams. Shanna was also involved in the Army ROTC program. Shanna was a member of the Fairfield Christian Church where she was very active in KQ Clubhouse teaching, KQ nursery coordinator, First Impressions Greeting Ministry, Communion Prep and Wave Youth Ministry volunteer. She also coached Upward soccer and basketball.
Shanna is survived by her husband of 16 years, Jack Nash; children, Rachel (Gerald Beatty) Vizzo, Jacqueline, Rebekah, Jaxon and Elijah Nash. Shanna was a loving wife and mother; her family was the most important thing in her life. She is also survived by her mother, Ann (P.J.) Judy; father-in-law, Jack Nash Sr.; siblings, Susan (Steve) Schmelzer, Sandy (Jeff) Kilbarger, Shawn (Becky) Bussart and special brother, Gary (Christine) Bussart; special aunt, Betty Etheridge and her daughter, Shirley. She was preceded in death by her father, Ben.
Her family would like to thank her special friends, Mandi Miller, Sue Johnson, Joel Reid, Tracey Shaeffer, Marrisa Wagner, the ICU team at FMC and the staff at the Pickering House for their wonderful care.
Shanna’s life can be summed up by 2 Timothy 4:7 – I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
