Ruth Elizabeth Goldsberry, of Hide-A-Way Hills, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2015 at the Pickering House. She was born August 28, 1912 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of the late Evert and Delia Crawford. She was the widow of the late Frank A. Goldsberry. Ruth was a homemaker, an avid vegetable and flower gardener and needlecrafter, which she shared with Shade United Methodist Church for over 30 years. She became a member of Lancaster United Brethren in Christ in 2003. She is survived by her son, James (Kathleen) Goldsberry; daughters, Barbara Gwinn, Norma (Gary) Miller, Andrea (Phil) Karshner; step-daughters, Carol Breese and Nadine (Loren) Taylor; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her brothers, John, Lou Arthur and Harry Crawford; sisters, Mary Kuhn, Ellen Crawford and Grace Witherell; step-sons, Dick, Robert and Charles Goldsberry. Funeral services at 11 AM Friday will be held at Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort Street, Bremen, Ohio with Rev. Greg Voight and Rev. Henry Cadwell officiating. Her family will receive friends and family 2 hours prior to the services. Graveside services will follow at 2 PM at Zion Cemetery, Zion Rd., Shade, Ohio.
