Russell Keith Rowe, 84, of Cincinnati, OH, formerly of Bremen, OH, passed away after a short illness on Friday, October 18, 2024, at The Glen in Cincinnati, OH.

Keith was born on March 30, 1940 in Mole Hill, WV. He was a graduate of Pennsboro High School (1958), attended Potomic State, and was a graduate of West Virginia University (1963).

Keith was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Keith’s time with his sons helped to shape them into the men they are today. Keith enjoyed spending time in his garden, golfing, and fishing trips with his family. Keith was a fixer of all things and was especially proud of the home he built that his family lived in for more than 30 years.

Keith was generous with his time and resources to anyone in need, which was a testament to his strong Christian faith. He spent a life changing month on a mission trip to Ghana, Africa in 2004 where he shared his faith and love.

In 2006, Keith retired from the Natural Resource Conservation Service after 42 years of service. He was proud of his numerous professional accomplishments as a Civil Engineer, including the positive impact to his community in Bremen with the construction of the Rush Creek Lake and Dam.

Keith lived at The Glen in Cincinnati for the final three years of his life. The family would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful care and love Keith received during his time there.

Keith is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Karla Renee Mericle Rowe; his children, James Rowe (Diana), Carl Joseph Rowe, Christopher Jourdan (Lindsay), and Charles Rowe (Rebecca); grandchildren Lauren, Haley, Sadie, Wesley, and William; and great-granddaughter Lilliana; sisters Janice Williamson (Jim), Jeanette McCullough, and Betty Jean Lynch, sisters-in-law Josephine Rowe, Molly Dittoe (Bob) and Jonda Kelly (Marty), and many beloved nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Hadsel and Lenora Rowe, Keith was preceded in death by sister, Frances Arlyne Mihlbauer, brother Robert Marshall Rowe and brothers-in-law, Gary McCullough, Steve Lynch, and Jake Mihlbauer. Keith was also preceded in death by his in-laws with whom he was particularly close, John and Marcella Mericle.
