Raymond Lee Scholl, 91, of Bremen, died peacefully at his residence on December 15, 2010. He was born March 3, 1919 in Bremen, Ohio the son of Reason & Elva (Brown) Scholl. He was a lifetime active member of the Bremen United Methodist Church. Raymond owned and operated Scholl Dairy and was a lifelong farmer. He served in the United States Army and was stationed at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. He was a member of the Bremen American Legion Post #20 and a long time Farm Bureau Council member. He is survived by his four children, Margaret (Gale) Poling, Judith (Dale) Ferbrache, Martha Jane Riley and Jeffery (Susan) Scholl; two sisters, Eileen Stemen and Lelia Morehead; one brother, W. Dean Scholl; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Lois (Eyman) Scholl; one sister, Mabel Scholl; three brothers, Kermit, Frederick and Merle Scholl; and son-in-law John Riley. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort St. Bremen. Funeral services will be held Monday December 20, 2010 at 10:30 am. with one hour prior viewing in the Bremen United Methodist Church.
Reverend Deborah Nance will be officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Contributions can be made in Raymond’s memory to Bremen United Methodist Church, 205 North Walnut St. Bremen, Ohio 43107.
