Ray Tipton, 71, of Bremen, Ohio passed away Monday, June 13, 2011. He was born January 23, 1940 in Pleasant Township, Ohio the son of the late Kenneth and Freda (Anders) Tipton. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Sue (Seifert) Tipton; son, Jeff Tipton; daughter, Karen (Kevin) Kemmerer; granddaughters, Janeen Kemmerer and Anne (Luke Boucher) Kemmerer; great-granddaughter, Reagan Renee Boucher; brother, Tom (Joy) Tipton; sisters, Ann (P.J.) Judy, Rita Jane (Ronnie) Williams; his aunt, Frances Calvert; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Bussart and brothers, John and Paul Tipton. Ray was a 1958 graduate of Rushcreek Memorial High School and worked in the fiberglass industry for 37 years. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church. Ray loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. He also enjoyed feeding the squirrels and playing golf. A special thank you to the staff at Fairfield Medical Center; physicians, Dr. Abidin, Dr. Buckley, Dr. Singh and Dr. Venkataraman; and FairHope Hospice. A visitation will take place Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort Street, Bremen. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM with one hour prior visitation at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 231 East Mulberry Street, Lancaster, Ohio with Rev. Mark Raddatz officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery,Bremen.
