Ralph Allan Cornell, 84 of Lancaster, died Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Pickering House. He was born April 15, 1927 in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late Glenn Wallace and Eva Belle (Taylor) Cornell. Ralph had attended Otterbein and Findlay Colleges and received his BA from Huntington College, Indiana and his MA from Indiana University. He was a retired minister serving in the Rising Sun, Ohio area. He attended Bremen Jerusalem Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ruth (Brandt) Cornell; daughter, Pamela Annette (David Alvin) Tesnow of Springfield, Virginia; sister, June Marie Ilardo; and three grandchildren, Aaron Tesnow, Aimee Moore and Andrew Tesnow. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort Street, Bremen. Funeral services will take place Monday at 10 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Gary Clum officiating. Interment and military honors will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Ralph’s memory to Fairhope Hospice, Pickering House, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
