Pamela J. Wells of Lancaster and Columbus died Saturday, May 3, 2014. She was 62.
Born Oct. 24, 1951, in Bremen, Ohio, Pamela was known throughout the community for her work with fashion, etiquette and education. She was dedicated to helping women and children from all walks of life realize their full potential, and her undeniable charisma touched everything from fashion shows to tutoring programs.
She founded The Pam Wells Program, a local modeling and etiquette school; she also worked with Sears Model’s Club, Fairfield County Job and Family Services, the Lancaster Eagle Gazette’s Newspapers in Education and Columbus’ Tutoring in Your Home.
Pamela is survived by her daughter Mollie Wells, father Robert Van Atta and brother Gregory Van Atta, among other loving friends and family members. She was preceded in death by her mother Donna Van Atta and sister Tammy Nusser.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 8 at Morgan Funeral Home (124 Fort Street, Bremen) with the burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7.
