Norman Eugene Lyons, 80, of Bremen, died unexpectedly Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at his home. He was born July 21, 1935 in Somerset, Ohio the son of Harry and Vergie Mae (Starkey) Lyons.
Norm was retired from Warthman Well Drilling and had served his country in the National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, LaVerne Ann (Sword) Lyons; son, David (Beth Boystel) Lyons; daughter, Wendy (Craig) Lyons-Rinehart; daughter, Debbie (Steve) Koehler; son, Randy Lyons; daughter, Lisa (David) Berry; sisters, Nancy Brumley and Mary Delong; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great – great grandchildren. He was a beloved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Carol Lane; brothers, Richard, Theodore and Robert Lyons; and sister, Elsie Wilder.
A time to visit with Norm’s family will be Friday from 2 -4 and 6 – 8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort Street, Bremen. Funeral services will take place Saturday at 10 AM in the funeral home.
