Rushville: Natalie Lynn McCune went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, July 16, 2011 from her residence in the presence of her family. Natalie is the daughter of Lowell and Carolyn Fisher of Rushville, born October 18, 1957. Natalie graduated from Fairfield Union High School and Ohio University, was controller of Mid Ohio Ambulance, retired volunteer of the Richland Township Fire Department, past member of the Pleasant Township Fire department and treasurer of the Falcon Pride Committee for Fairfield Union Schools. Natalie attended Life Church.
Natalie is survived by her loving husband, Curt McCune, sons, Brad (Terra) Shull, of Rushville and Mark Shull of Columbus. Step daughter, Tera Naayers of New Salem, step sons Doug (Kaya) McCune of Pleasantville and Randy (Reatta) McCune of Lancaster , grandchildren, Piercen, Braden and Trenten Shull, Shane, Galon and Brenia Cochran, Destinee and Bobby Naayers, Grace, Faith and Ryan McCune. Brothers, Greg (Debbie) Fisher of Rushville and Fred (Charla) Fisher of Charlotte, NC, mother-in-law, Sharla McCune, sisters-in-law, Lona (Richard) Shumaker and Molly (Dave) Carsey, nieces, Lauryn and Sarah Fisher, nephews, Travis, Corey and Clay Fisher.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Marion and Bea Ruble and Stanley and Fern Fisher, and father-in-law, Rev. Doyle McCune.
Special thanks to her family , friends, her small group and others from Life Church, Pastor Ron and Marilyn Grubb, her employer and friends, Melody and Jim Smith, co-workers at Mid Ohio Ambulance, and Pam with Fairhope Hospice who provided loving care and support during her illness.
Services celebrating her life will start at 11 AM Thursday, July 21 at Life Church, 5550 Lancaster-Newark Road (St. Rt. 37), with Pastor Ron Grubb officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the West Rushville Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2-8 PM Wednesday, July 20 at Morgan Funeral Home in Bremen, Ohio.
