Morgan Ernest Hatfield of Junction City, OH was born May 10, 1932 in Ewing, VA to Willis and Minnie Hatfield. He passed from this life to eternal life on Friday March 4th, 2011 at the age of 78. He was preceded in death by both parents and 3 brothers, William, Grover, and Austin. He is survived by his sons, Roger (Cathy) Hatfield of Junction City, OH, Ernest Harold Hatfield, of Aiken, SC, and Rhonda (Hatfield) Dunn of Princeton, WV; five brothers, Arvil (Tina) Hatfield, Chester (Sue) Hatfield, Douglas (Judy) Hatfield, Lowell (Diane) Hatfield, and Gary (Elaine) Hatfield; two sisters, Lillian Eldridge and Sue (Frank) Ramsey; 6 grandchildren, Angela (Hatfield) Snider, Rachel (Hatfield) Bell, Donnie Higgins, Sean Hatfield, Aaron Higgins, and Alex Williams; and eight great-grandchildren. Numerous others called him Grandpa including extended special family, Keith and Lori West, William and Donna Syfert, and David and Connie Brogdon. Ernest worked as a truck driver and mechanic for over 30 years, and retired from U.S. Steel Corporation Mining Division. He was a faithful member of the Bremen Holiness Church. He was an Army corporal during the Korean War era. Viewing for friends and family will be Monday March 7th 5pm-9pm at the Bremen Holiness Church located at 1300 Mt Zwingli Rd, Bremen OH 43107. Funeral will be Tuesday March 8th at 11:00 am in the church with Rev. Amos Tillis officiating. The church will be open an hour before the service for visitation on Tuesday. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Bremen Holiness School at the church address above.
