Mona May (South) Denner

Mona May (South) Denner, 81, died peacefully Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born January 8, 1945 in Bremen, Ohio to Carl Edward and Minnie Gaye (Nelson) South Sr.. 

Mona is the beloved mother to her boys, James Jr. (Kathy) and Jamie (Teresa) Denner. She is also survived by her brother, John (Tenina) South; 3 grandchildren, Amanda Friedle, Tyler Denner, Emily Montgomery; 5 great-grandchildren, Kyara, Scotty and Liam Montgomery, Tyler James Denner Jr. and Mayra Friedle; grand fur baby, Cooper; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carl; and sisters, Jean, Alice, Betty, Anna, Evelyn and Helen.

Mona was a longtime member of the Bible Holiness Church, 212 Angle Street, Bremen, Ohio, where services will be held Friday, May 15th at Noon. There will be a visitation prior to services from 10 - Noon.
