Mary E Likens

Mary Likens, 75, of Lancaster, died peacefully Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Pickering House. Mary was born March 8, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Ollie James and Eileen (Lehman) Fugate. She grew up with nine siblings, with whom she was close her whole life - James Fugate, Robert Fugate, Glora Fugate, Donna Singer, Hannah Goss, Porter Fugate, Angus Kitchens, Alberta Fugate and Susan Diddle. 

Mary was a very quiet kid growing up. Although Mary was a quiet person, she was not afraid to say what she thought when she needed. Mary was kind and caring and super funny - especially as she got older. She loved spending time with family and loved spending time with her grandkids. She loved quilting, reading books, puzzle books and watching her TV shows. She enjoyed country music. She worked at Crestview Nursing Home for over 26 years until she retired. 

Mary was a dedicated mother to her sons, George and David Likens, whom she loved and adored. Mary also took in two of her grandkids and raised them, Dreama Webber and David Likens. 

She is survived by her sons; her grandchildren, Kayla Six, Megan Likens, Angela Likens, Dreama (Chris) Webber, David Shade Likens, Rose Likens, Josh Likens, Donovan Searles and Julian Likens; her great grandchildren, Luca Winegardner, Kai Ann Webber, Jordan Webber, Mateo Benitez and Artemis Sage Myra; and siblings, James, Robert, Gloria, Hannah, Angus, Alberta and Susan. 

A time to visit with Mary's family will be Monday, June 22nd from 6 - 8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home in Bremen.
