Mary K. Hillyard Keck, 89, of Bremen, passed to her heavenly home, Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born November 5, 1924 in Logan, Ohio the daughter of Robert Henry Adcock and Grace (Van Curen) Adcock Blum. She was a 1942 graduate of Logan High School and retired from Anchor Hocking. Mary K. was an active member of the Bremen United Methodist Church for 68 years, where she served in many capacities. She was especially fond of singing in the choir and teaching Sunday School, having taught all age groups at one time or another. She was active in her community as a member of the Bremen Area Historical Society, Bremen Senior Citizens and as a tutor at Bremen Elementary. Mary K. is survived by 4 daughters, Donna (Harold) Hoffman, JoAnne Windsor, Fran (Chuck) Drake and Leesa (James) Funk; 2 sons, Franklin P. (Mary) and Donald P. (Sandy) Hillyard; 3 step-children, Yvette, Paula and Lynn; brother-in-law, Bob Bateman; half-sister, Martha (Floyd) Gibbs; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 49 years, Donald Hillyard; second husband, Paul Keck; brother, Robert Adcock Jr.; and 2 sisters, Lee McGlinchey and JoAnne Bateman. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will take place Monday at 10 AM with one hour prior visiting at the Bremen United Methodist Church with Rev. Joe Chrisman officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemtery.
