Marcella Marie Mericle

Marcella Marie Muck Mericle, 83, of Bremen, died Friday, September 18, 2015 at her home. She was born April 25, 1932 in Lancaster, Ohio the daughter of Leland Isaac and Anna Fern (Upp) Muck.
Marcie graduated from Lancaster High School in 1950 and the Ohio State School of Cosmetology in 1951. She took her natural ability, combined with learned skills and ran Marcie’s Beauty Shop in the rear of her home from 1962-1995. She was a member of Rushcreek Presbyterian Church and was active in the Bremen-Bethel Presbyterian Ladies Circle Group. She was an artist, a jewelry designer and enjoyed her winters in Florida immensely.
Marcie is survived by her daughters, Karla (Keith) Rowe, Molly (Bob) Dittoe and Jonda Sims; 10 grandchildren, Chris (Lindsay) Jourdan, Charlie (Becky) Rowe, Jim Rowe, Blake (Jennifer) Ross, Angela (Aron) Rogers, Audrey (Andrew Miller) Ross, Chris (Anna) Dittoe, Jody Taylor, Allie and Maddie Sims; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jeanne Muck; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, John R. Mericle in 2013; brother, Wilmer; sisters, Irene, Mary and Sue.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort Street, Bremen. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at Grandview Cemetery, Bremen.
Marcie’s family would like to thank all of her attending doctors and nurses, local and at the James, Alternacare of Lancaster and FairHoPe Hospice. And a special thank you to the private caregivers for the love and care they gave over the past few months.
