Lloyd “Bake” Baker, 69, of Bremen, passed away, Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born and raised in Grayson, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Rushville Senior Citizens, Rushville United Methodist Church and the American Legion, Bremen. Lloyd drove truck for 38 years for McCandlish Brothers Trucking in Bremen and also recently worked for Leith Auctions. He is survived by his partner in life, Kay Love; daughter, Lorie Ann Cozad (Harless Fleming- Fiance); “special buddy”, Harless Fleming III; sisters, Launita (Hubert) Carr, Betty Gallion; brothers, Kenneth (Carrie) Baker, Cook (Regina) Baker and Gary Baker; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Minnie Baker; brothers, Clyde and Glen Baker; sisters, Ernestine, Hazel and Eleanor; brothers-in-law, Willie Gallion, Drew Elliott and Harold McCoy; first wife and daughter, Phyllis and Kimberly; and second wife, Mary Ann Baker. Dad had a huge heart and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 – 8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will take place Thursday at 11 AM in the funeral home with Rev. John Coleman and Rev. Paul Wymer officiating. Graveside services and military honors will be held Friday at 2 PM in Baker Cemetery, Grayson, Kentucky.
