Linda Jane Yeazel, 76, of Bremen, died unexpectedly Thursday, October 15, 2026. She was born November 29, 1949 in Bremen, Ohio the daughter of the late Russell and Aileen (Boyer) Fox.
Linda was a 1968 graduate of Lancaster High School and in the fall of that year, on September 8th, married Herbert "Herb" Wiley Yeazel Jr. Linda was a proud homemaker whose life was centered around the people she loved most: her husband, children and grandchildren. She dedicated her life to her family, giving them all the love, support, and opportunities she could, to ensure they had a wonderful life. She was their biggest supporter and one of their greatest cheerleaders. She could always be found in the crowd at parades, recitals, and band performances, proudly watching her children and grandchildren do what they loved. She never wanted to miss a moment of their lives and made sure they always knew how loved and supported they were.
At home, Linda found joy in cooking, baking, and gardening. Whether she was preparing a home-cooked meal, baking something special, or tending to her garden, she created warmth and comfort in the simple things. Her home and the traditions she built were a reflection of the love she put into everything she did.
Her love extended beyond her own home and into her community. Linda was well known at the elementary school for her involvement with the PTO, where she generously gave her time and energy to support the children and school community. She took pride in being involved and making a difference in the lives of those around her.
Linda is survived by her children, Rick (Michelle) Yeazel and Gina (Tom) Goodyear, both of Junction City, Ohio; granddaughters, Rebekah Yeazel and Janae Goodyear. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Private graveside services were held at Grandview Cemetery, Bremen.
Linda's legacy is one of devotion, generosity, and a love that showed itself not just in words, but in a lifetime of showing up, giving her all, and putting her family first. She will be remembered for the countless moments she made special, the traditions she created, and the unwavering love she gave to the people who meant everything to her.
