Lester F. Sharp Sr.

Lester Freddie Sharp Sr., 88, of Bremen, died peacefully Wednesday, September 17, 2025. He was born March 18, 1937 in Bremen, Ohio to the late Edward William and Virgie Vera (Musser) Sharp.

Lester was a 1957 graduate of Rushcreek Memorial High School in Bremen. He retired after 32 years of service from the Ohio Department of Transportation. He was a farmer and worked with the Rushcreek Conservancy District. He was a member of Living Word Ministries in Junction City, where he served in various capacities. He was also a member of the Ohio Horse Council and the Sovereign Grand Lodge of the Odd Fellows. His legacy of unconditional love, wisdom and faith will live on in all who knew him.

Lester is survived by his wife of 68 years, Yvonne (Chapman) Sharp, whom he married March 23, 1957; sons, Lester F. Jr. (Brigette) Sharp and Clarence E. "Chip" (Becky) Sharp; grandchildren, Lizzie (Waylon) Boyd, Justin (Jessica) Bell-Sharp, Maggie (Tyler) Walsh, Cody (Shelly) Bell-Sharp, Bryan (Samantha) Fauke, Samantha Green, Joe (Edna) Ogg, Angela Ogg, Megan Sharp and Miranda (Blake) Dean.; 21 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; sister, Florence J. Hitchings; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sharon K. Fulgium: and brothers, John E. and Fredrick A. Sharp. We know that he is catching up with his good friend, Tony, over breakfast in Heaven.

A time to visit with Lester's family will be Monday, September 22nd from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM at Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, September 23rd at 10 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Don Harris officiating. Graveside services will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Contributions in Lester's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
