Kenneth Jay “KJ” Vanasdlen Jr., 20, formerly of Junction City, died unexpectedly Saturday, July 11, 2015 at his home in Toledo. He was born April 10, 1995 in Toledo, Ohio the son of Kenneth and Vickie Vanasdlen. He had attended New Lexington City Schools and was an outstanding wrestler for the Panthers.
He is survived by his parents; brothers, Billy Allen Vanasdlen and R. J. Nigh; sisters, Brandy Blackwood and Crystal Walker; grandparents, William (Shirley) Miller, Talmadge (Luella) Lee and Glenn Vanasdlen; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his great-uncle, Shirley Lee and Uncle Rick Vanasdlen.
A visitation will be Thursday from 5 – 7 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will follow at 7 PM. Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 10 AM near his parents’ home at Salem Chapel Cemetery, Marietta Rd, Junction City.
