Jeffery Kent Myers, 62, of Lancaster, went home to his Savior on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. He was born April 6, 1959 in Nelsonville, Ohio to James Lee and Charlotte Carolyn (Monk) Myers. He was a 1977 graduate of Logan High School and a 1981 graduate of Ohio University. He had worked for and retired from the State of Ohio. Jeff was a member of Faith Memorial Church where he played piano, guitar and sang in the choir.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 42 years, Rhonda Ann (Moyer) Myers, whom he married June 8, 1980; his parents; daughter, Laura (Aaron) Johnston; granddaughter, Laila Johnston; brothers, Steve (Michelle) and Nathan (Jessi) Myers; sisters, Carolyn (Wendell) O’Brien, Jeanie (Dan) Knight and Joy (Lonnie) Potts; father-in-law, Lowell Moyer; brothers-in-law, Dave (Judy) and Dan (Nicci) Moyer; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and his trusty collie, Scout. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter (Beulah) Myers and Gale (Velma) Monk; and mother-in-law, Judy Moyer.

Sunday, January 30th at 3 PM. His family is planning an outdoor celebration of Jeff’s life that will take place at Alley Park (one of Jeff’s favorite places) when weather conditions are improved.
