Janet Kay Qualls, 73, of Bremen, died peacefully in her home on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. She was born November 1, 1940 in New Lexington, Ohio the daughter of Dominic and Catherine (Dutiel) DePinto. She was a 1958 graduate of St. Aloysius and was a member of the Bremen-Bethel Presbyterian Church. She had worked for 20 years for Fairfield National Bank and assisted in the operations of the Bremen Quik Stop. Janet loved golfing, working with ceramics, Sunday dinner but mostly her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gene Qualls, whom she married May 7, 1960; two sons, Mike Qualls and Jeff (Annamarie) Qualls; sister, Joann Dennis; 3 grandchildren, Tyler (Laura) Leach, Katherine and Matthew Qualls; and 2 great-grandchildren, Jackson and Grayson Leach. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Gary Dennis. Visitation will be held Friday, February 14 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will take place Saturday at 10 AM in the funeral home with her cousin Msgr. Anthony Missimi officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
