Janet Charlene Barnard

Janet Charlene (Hart) Barnard, 72, of Bremen, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at the Pickering House. She was born June 27, 1954 in Elizabeth, West Virginia to the late Charles Nimrod and Velma Carol (Roberts) Hart.

Janet was a 1973 graduate of Loudonville High School. Janet enjoyed many years working at White Cottage Restaurant in Lancaster and last worked as a housekeeper at Reflections.

Janet is survived by her sisters, Rita (Andrew) Donelson and Pamela Sullivan; nieces and nephews, Mike (Molly) Sullivan, Holly (Catie) Sullivan, Heather (Jeff) Doty, Drew (Kayla) Donelson, Lloyd (Traci) Donelson and Ashlie Donelson; great nieces and nephews, Samantha (Austin) Alexander, Bode and Cooper Sullivan, Emma Sullivan, Hannah, Riley, Olivia, Jack and Savannah Doty, Corrie (Dillon) Stalling; Emsley and Loxley Donelson, Emma Fogle, Karsyn Donelson and Kayden and Finley Likes. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jerry Lee Barnard in 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, August 31st at Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. A time to visit with Janet's family will take place from 12 pm - 2 pm prior to services. Graveside services will follow at Grandview Cemetery, Bremen.
