Ina Mae Hartman Harmon, 88, a lifelong resident of Bremen, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Homestead Nursing Center. She was born October 5, 1928 in Lancaster, Ohio to William and Edna Beatrice (Daubenmire) Hartman. Ina’s joy was being a homemaker, selflessly caring for the daily needs of her family. She was a 1947 graduate of Rushcreek Memorial High School and a member of the Bremen United Methodist Church.
Ina is survived by three children, Larry (Martha) Harmon, Russell (Terri) Harmon and Linda Harmon Baughman; six grandchildren, Shawn (Tamara), Brandon (Kristin), Emilee, Chuck (Stephanie), Holli (Jeremiah) and Elizabeth (Bryn); numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Karen Purcell (who was raised by Rock and Ina) and Mary Boyer; sister-in-law, Nancy Hartman; brother-in-law, Bob Webb; dear friend, Sherry Huber; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roscoe “Rock” Harmon in 2013; sister, Marty Webb; and brother, Bill Hartman.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10 AM in the Bremen United Methodist Church, 205 North Walnut Street, Bremen. A time to visit with family will take place one hour prior to services. Graveside services will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
