Helen I. Everitt, 96, of Bremen, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at the Pickering House, Lancaster. She was born September 27, 1914 in Perry County, Ohio the daughter of Ira Frank and Goldie Mae (Howdyshell) Purvis. She graduated from Junction City High School. Helen loved her family and loved her flowers and garden. She is survived by her children, Patricia (Clarence) White, Millocent Minor and Ernest (Lois) Everitt II; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest in 1980; siblings, Earl and Paul Purvis and Ethel Bell; and her parents. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM. Rev. Roger Hale will be officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. The family suggest donations in lieu of flowers be made to Fairhope Hospice or the Pickering House. On
