Gertrude M. “Tudie” Hubbard, 91, of Bremen, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 at The Laurels of Worthington. She was born April 14, 1921 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late William and Gertrude (McLain) Daum Sr. She graduated from Lancaster St. Mary’s High School in 1939 and after graduation was manager of the Omar Bakery in Lancaster. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bremen. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Dwight “Buzz” Hubbard in 2009; brother and sisters, William Daum, Margaret Daum, Marie Ahern and Ruth Westenhouser. Tudie is survived by her children, Barbara (Dwight “Ike”) Kelley of Columbus and Jeff (Sherry) Hubbard of Lancaster; five grandchildren, Kerrie (Michael) Orazen, Dr. Brian (Alecia) Kelley, Thea (Dan) Ramey, Claire Hubbard, Sydney Hubbard and ten great-grand grandchildren. A special thanks to Dr. Troy Hampton of Bremen and The Laurels of Worthington for their care and concern. A time to visit with Tudie’s family will be held Wednesday from 6 til 8 pm at the Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort Street, Bremen. A funeral mass will be held Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 602 Marietta Street, Bremen with Father Thomas Kessler officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
