Gertrude “Trudy” Bateson, 88, of Logan, died Saturday, July 24, 2021. She was born September 16, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of Carl and Forest (Young) Fox.
Trudy is survived by her children, Deborah (Butch) Lumpkin, Paul (Scott) Bateson and Sherry (Tracy) Beckman; 5 grandchildren, Arica, Brian, Derek, Alex and Connor; great-granddaughter, Kennedy; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 54 years, Frederick Paul Bateson; and brothers, Carl and Glen Fox.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 28th at 10 AM at Glen Rest Memorial Estate, Reynoldsburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Trudy’s memory to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio 43130
