Francis C. Sherlock, 87 of Bremen, Ohio peacefully went home to be with the Lord on February 6th, 2025 in his home surrounded by his wife, sons, and grandkids. Francis was born February 27, 1937 in Perry County to the late Floyd "Jack" and Lucille Sherlock.

Francis attended Junction City High School and Eastland Vocational School where he obtained his Boiler Engineer license.

He married the love of his life, Judith "Judy" A. (Schmeltzer) Sherlock on June 17, 1959 and God blessed their marriage with 4 children.

Francis worked at Anchor Hocking Plant 35, as a Boiler Engineer for many years before he retired. He was a member of the Bremen Community Methodist Church and Lancaster Rods and Customs. He was also a Scout Master for Pack 95 for 10 years. In his younger years, he was an active member in the Village of Bremen

During his lifetime, Francis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, boating, fishing, camping. woodworking, tinkering with anything he could find, watching NASCAR races, showing his '65 Ford Galaxy and '63 Oldsmobile Dynamic 87 in car shows and parades where he won several trophies showing his love of classic cars. He also enjoyed playing cards with his buddy a few nights a week and listening to old hymns and classic country music.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Judy, three sons; Carl David, Dale A. (Lisa),
and Darrell A. "Andy" Sherlock; three sisters; Bonita B. Feener, Joyce L. Turner and Karen S. Shuttleworth; Aunt Doris Barnes; two grandchildren; Charles Matthew and Crystal Renee Wittman; many nieces, nephews and cousins; son-in-law, Charles W. Wittman. He is also survived by his dear friends David Morris, William "Bill" Adkins, Steve Elder, and Debra Miller.

He was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father-in-law, brother, Myron E. Sherlock and daughter, Diana K. Wittman. He was also preceded in death by the only cat he ever had and loved, Prince David Santiago "Santee".

Francis lived a good life and will forever be loved and remembered by all who knew him.

Visitation will take place Monday, February 10, 2025 from 11 AM – 1 PM at the Bremen Community Methodist Church with service directly following at 1 PM. Burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery where he will be laid to rest beside his Little Girl. A meal will be provided by the Church after the burial.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fairhope Hospice who were a Godsend in helping his family take care of him in his home.
