Frances C. Labrasca, 93, formerly of Bremen, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Houston, Texas. She was born April 28, 1922 in California, Pennsylvania the daughter of Calogero and Caroline (Pecararo) Aglio.
She is survived by her son, Russell Andrew (Judy) Labrasca Jr., Houston, TX; granddaughter, Meredith Ann Labrasca; and several nieces, nephews living throughout the U.S.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell A. Labrasca on Feb. 16, 1980; brother, Tony Aglio; and sisters, Catherine Defillippo, Mary Spallino, Angeline Defilippo and Josephine Amato.
Frances was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bremen and more recently St. Cyril Parish in Houston, Texas. She was a longtime member of the Bremen Sr. Citizens and was proud to have been deemed a “Forever Friend of Bremen” prior to moving to be near her son. Frances remained an avid Ohio State fan even while living in the Land of the Longhorns.
A visitation will be Friday from 6 – 8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. A funeral mass will take place Saturday at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bremen.
