Florence Evelyn Pool, 81, passed on September 26, 2012 at the Ohio Masonic Home, Springfield, Ohio. She was born March 23, 1931 in Salt Creek Township, Hocking County, the only child of Berman and Elva (Consolver) Wynkoop. She married Walter A. Pool on July 24, 1948 who survives. Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by three sons: : Edward (Martha) Pool and William (Jane) Pool of Lancaster, and Michael (Ruth) Pool of Streetsboro; seven grandchildren: Mary Pool (Hanoi, Vietnam), Laura (John) Leiser (Kettering), Amy Pool (Canberra, Australia), Nathan Pool (Denver, Colorado), Heather Pool (Lancaster), Amber (Gary) Hennis (Lithopolis) and Darrell Pool (Streetsboro); one great-grandson Isaac Hennis.
Evelyn attended the Bremen-Bethel Presbyterian Church and was a longtime member of the Alexandria Rebeka Lodge and Model Gleaners Eastern Star of Bremen, and the Bremen Area Historical Society. Her family and home were her most valued and cherished possessions.
Visitation will be held at the Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort Street, Bremen on Friday from 5 to 8 pm. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10 AM with Rev. Cynthia McKay officiating at the Collins Chapel Cemetery, North Berne. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bremen Area Historical Society or the Bremen- Bethel Presbyterian Church
