Faith Marilyn Sherlock

Faith Marilyn Sherlock, 76, of Bremen, went to be with the Lord, Monday, April 14, 2014 in the Pickering House, Lancaster. She was born June 21, 1937 in Rehoboth, Ohio, the daughter of Andrew and Nellie (Cable) Prichard. Faith was a graduate of New Lexington High School and over the years had worked in a variety of capacities with the Fairfield Union Schools, Fairfield Community Meals and the Bremen Library. She was a member of Avlon United Brethren Church. A few of Faith’s favorite things were firstly, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family, then cooking and reading. Faith is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Fred Sherlock, whom she married July 1, 1956; children, Jeff (Joan) Sherlock, Betsy (Peter) Martindale and Mary Jane Sherlock; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Scott Sherlock. Visitation will take place Thursday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM in the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM in the funeral home with Rev. Charles Wheatley officiating. Graveside services will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
