Elijah Randall Brandenburger, lovingly known as "Eli," age 20, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
Born on January 29, 2006, Eli was a 2025 graduate of Lancaster High School. He was a young man who loved life, embraced adventure, and possessed a genuine curiosity about the world around him.
Eli enjoyed a wide variety of interests, including weightlifting, fishing, camping, hiking, ziplining, cliff diving, and traveling. He also had a fascination with astronomy and enjoyed woodworking. Whether exploring the outdoors, learning something new, or spending time with those he loved, Eli found joy in life's many adventures.
One of Eli's most special qualities was his ability to connect with people of all ages. He enjoyed meeting new people, making friends, and especially forming friendships with those of older generations. His quiet, gentle nature allowed him to create meaningful connections with the people around him.
Eli is survived by his parents, Jason and Princess Brandenburger and Angel and Ritchie Anderson; his beloved older brother, Jack Brandenburger, with whom he shared a special bond that only brothers can know; and Luke, Maddie, and Morgan Anderson.
He is also survived by his grandparents, Evelyn and Bob Longo, John and Teri Brandenburger, and James and Deborah Schorr; his great-grandparents, Forrest and Luciana Schorr and Mary Morgan; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home in Bremen, Ohio.
A funeral service celebrating Eli's life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Bible Holiness Church in Bremen, Ohio with Pastor Marvin Shipman officiating.
Above all, Eli loved his family, and he was loved beyond measure in return. Some of life's greatest treasures are found in the simplest moments-being together, sharing laughter, making memories, and enjoying the love of family. Eli was a cherished part of those moments, and his presence will be deeply missed at every family gathering.
Though his time here was far too short, the love Eli shared and the memories he created will remain with his family forever.
His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure. He is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. Forever in our hearts, forever our Eli.
