Dwight W Kellenbarger, 91, of Lancaster went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 20, 2012 at Sunbridge Nursing Home. He was born November 4,1921 in Bremen, Ohio to Martin W and Esther (Thomason) Kellenbarger. He built many homes in the area, and drilled many more water wells. Dwight was a member of the Bremen American Legion Post 20. He served 3 1/2 years in the United States Navy aboard the USS Monadnock during World War II.
Dwight is survived by his wife of 66 years, Harriett Ann (Clark) Kellenbarger, sons, Kenneth (Joy) Kellenbarger, Kevin (Sandy) Kellenbarger, daughters Karen Snider, Kathy Kellenbarger, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Harold W Kellenbarger, Ralph P Kellenbarger, Howard Kellenbarger and sisters: Geraldine (Kellenbarger) Eaton, Dorothy (Kellenbarger) Tarter.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday November 24, 2012 at MORGAN FUNERAL HOME, 124 Fort St, Bremen, Ohio with his grandson Chadwick Kellenbarger officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Bremen-Bethel Cemetery with military honors.
