Douglas A Burnworth

Douglas A. Burnworth, 71, of Bremen died Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Pickering House. He was born March 2, 1955 in Lancaster, Ohio to Newton Junior and Donna Mae (Van Horn) Burnworth.

Doug was a 1973 graduate of Fairfield Union High School where he was active in FFA. Doug was a lifelong farmer and found great joy in his work. He was a real steward of the land and enjoyed teaching everyone about the crops he raised.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lisa Burnworth; Jonathan (Jill), Michael (Lindsey) and Nathan Burnworth; grandchildren, Jaxon, Jace, Joelle and Olivia; brothers, Mike (Sue) and Tim (Jane) Burnworth; and the boys' mom, Emily Burnworth; extended family and close friends who helped in so many ways along this journey with Doug.

A time to visit and reminisce with Doug's family will be from 2 - 8 PM on Friday, September 4th at Harvest Adventures, 1135 Locust Grove Road NE, Bremen, Ohio.
