Dorothy Lynn Bugh (Savage)

Dorothy Lynn Bugh (Savage), 92, of Richland Twp, Ohio died Friday, November 15, 2024. She was born February 19, 1932 in Thorn Township, Perry County, Ohio the daughter of Roy W. and Bernice M. (Dupler) Lynn. Dorothy was a lifelong member of Drumms Lutheran Church. She raised 4 children on her own, working numerous jobs to make it all come together.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Rev. David A. Bugh; daughters, Jonni (Chris Frazier) Bugh and Daryl Gardner; 6 grandchildren, Erin, Elissa, Matthew, Jesse, Joshua and Brandy; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, Dr. David A. Bugh; 2nd husband, Martin E. Savage; daughter, Lynn Britch; granddaughters, Christina and Jennifer; brothers, Donald and Robert Lynn; and 3 step-children.
A time to visit with Dorothy’s family will be Wednesday, November 20th from 4 – 7 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 21st at 10 AM at Drumms Lutheran Church, 8995 Drums Bottom Rd NE, Thornville, Ohio with Rev. John Kauffman officiating. Graveside services will follow at Drumms Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Dorothy’s memory to Drumms Lutheran Church.
