Donald Feener, 71 of Bremen, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at his home after a long illness with lung cancer. He was born July 22, 1939 in Boston, Massachusetts. He came to Ohio in 1965 where he worked at Electro Plating, Ray-O-Vac and Cyril Scott. He enjoyed playing and umpiring baseball, gardening, watching sports, good jokes, and spending time with his family. Donald served as President of the Bremen Eagles and was a member of the Lancaster Eagles. He was a member of the Bremen Calvary United Methodist Church. Donald is survived by his wife of 42 years, Bonita; children, Raymond (Natalie) Feener, Roger (Tammie) Kehl, Dennis (Amy) Kehl and Rick Feener; grandchildren, Adriana, Tristan Feener, Chris, Adam, Jared(Katie) and Rachel Kehl. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Gladys Feener; and siblings, Richard, Raymond, Gloria and Eleanor. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 124 Purvis Ave, Bremen. Funeral services will be held in the church Saturday at 10 AM with Reverend Raymond Sharritts officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Methodist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church or the Pickering House.
