Daniel F. Bigham, 66, of Lancaster, formerly of Bremen, left his earthly body on July 27, 2023 at the Pickering House. He is the son of Ivan E. (deceased) and Jo-Ann (Amerine) Bigham, born April 1, 1957 in Lancaster.
As a born again Christian, he worshipped at Faith Memorial Church, Lancaster. He was a graduate of Fairfield Union High School, Class of 1975. Before retirement, Dan was the Maintenance Director at Fairfield County Board of DD. Dan was an amazing gardener and felt blessed to share his “green thumb bounty” with friends and neighbors.
Dan is survived by his wife of 41 years, Charlotte (Van Meter) Bigham; his mother; sons, Kyle E. (Rachel) Bigham, Jeffrey F. Clark and Joseph H. (Dallas) Clark; grandchildren, Corey, Nikki (Chris), Caleb, Alyssa, Abby, Hannah and Jonas; great-grandchildren, Colton, Alex and Raelynn; brothers and sisters, Ronald (Pat) Bigham, Karen Bigham, Belinda Castle, Beverly (Bob) McFarland and Greg Bigham; many nieces and nephews; uncles, Harold (Donna) Bigham, Garold Amerine; aunts, Lena Simpson and Mary Lou (Doyle) Sturms; many cousins and friends; and former daughter-in-law, Joyce Stickdorn. A time to visit with Dan’s family will be Monday, July 31st from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 1st at 11 AM in the funeral home with Rev. John Morgan and special friend, Gayle Beery officiating. Visitation 1 hour prior to funeral services.
