Cody grew up wrestling, starting at age 5. He was coached by his father and wrestled for Fairfield Union and Sheridan High School. He started his secondary sport, baseball, at a young age and played catcher. He played for Fairfield Union High School. He received many awards for wrestling and his baseball teams. Cody was a proud member of the Fairfield Union and Sheridan FFA. Cody’s passion was found in a tree stand, with a fishing pole in his hand or sitting in his PC210 Komatsu. Cody was a very happy person and was fun to be around. He is sadly missed by his family, fiance’ and many, many friends. Cody was an avid sportsman. He loved his dog, Duke, who became the family pet at his parents home with his sister, Samantha and his dog, Rip, whom he shared with Lilli. Cody also loved country music and liked attending songfest at church. He was a very good singer himself but shyed away from his talent. Cody always had a warm smile for everyone, that’s not to say he didn’t have a bit of a temper at times.
