Charles Howard Wolfe, 92, of Bremen, died Wednesday July 1, 2015 at home. He was born in Perry County, Ohio on July 1, 1923 the son of the late Charles W. and Fay O. (Spohn) Wolfe. He was a 1942 graduate of Rushcreek Memorial High School and then served his country at the close of World War II in the United States Army Air Corp. He was a member of Bremen Jerusalem Church, the Bremen American Legion, Post 20 and past member of the Free and Accepted Masons, Bremen Lodge. He retired from North American Aviation as a Quality Control Director overseeing all projects with the Navy.
Charles is survived by his son, Charles David (Deborah) Wolfe of Bremen; daughter, Carole Ann (Charles) Fick of Greer, SC; grandsons, Brandt Ethan (Kimberly) Fick and Aaron D. (Kathy) Wolfe; great-grandchildren, Austin and Adrienne Fick; brother, Donald (Janelle) Wolfe; sister, Mary Cooke; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada Lee Ann Wolfe; brother, Rollin Wolfe and sister, Clara Heyd.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 – 8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Graveside services and military honors will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
