Charles Lloyd Elick, 81, of Bremen, died Monday, December 17, 2018 at the Pickering House. He was born March 27, 1937 in Hocking County, Ohio the son of the late Lloyd Mason and Gladys Irene (Lindsay) Elick.
Chuck was a 1956 graduate of Bremen-Rushcreek Memorial High School and served his country in the US Army. He had lived in Arizona for a time, where he worked for Holsum Bakery. When he returned to Ohio he worked for Rushcreek Township retiring in 2004.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janice Sue (Gooch) Elick, whom he married December 21, 1976; children, Lisa (Jim) Dunn, Dean (Kelly) Elick and Chuck Elick; granddaughters, Lauren (Spencer) Sowders and Lily Elick; great-granddaughter, Octavia Sowders; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laura Elick; and brothers, Jim and Kenneth Elick.
A time to visit with Chuck’s family will be Friday from 5 – 8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort Street, Bremen. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM in the funeral home.
