Betty Ann (Flowers) Burke, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2023, at the age of 84. She was born on May 17, 1939, in Lancaster, Ohio, to loving parents whose memory she cherished throughout her life. Betty's unwavering dedication to her profession and the care she provided to countless patients will always be remembered.
After completing her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Betty pursued her passion for helping others by joining the medical industry. She spent the majority of her 63 year career as a registered nurse at the Fairfield Medical Center, where her compassionate nature and tireless commitment to her patients left an indelible mark on their lives.
Betty was not only a dedicated professional but also a loving wife and a caring mother. She is survived by her devoted spouse who supported her throughout her journey, Thomas Burke; her cherished son, Scott Burke; loving granddaughter, Josephine Burke; brother, Dale (Jan) Flowers; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Naomi Flowers; daughter, Carol Burke; sister, Roxanne Crow; infant brother, Bobby; and grandson, Frederick Burke. Betty's kind heart and nurturing spirit extended beyond her professional life, touching the lives of those closest to her.
A funeral service to celebrate Betty Ann Burke's life will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 11:00 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, located at 5575 Cincinnati-Zanesville Rd., Lancaster, Ohio. A public visitation will take place on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 2 - 7 PM also at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, to provide an opportunity for community to pay their respects.
In honor of Betty Ann Burke's compassionate nature and her dedication to improving the lives of others, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Fairfield Union High School designated to the Theatre Department (Musical) in memory of Freddy Burke.
Betty's presence will be greatly missed, and her memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing
