Arthur Lee Potter, 92, born June 25, 1925 to Clinton Arthur and Clara Mabel Potter, went to be with his savior with his family by his side on December 31, 2017. Missing him is his wife of 70 years, Stella Marie, whom he married June 22, 1947; his children, Linda (Gary) Miller, Doug (Sheryl) Potter, Brett (Angie) Potter; his sister, Lucy Snoke Snyder; grandchildren, Jennifer Miller Souders (fiancé, Jason Steele), Nathan Potter (partner, Emmett Kimball), Brandon (Karen) Potter, Stephanie (Adam) Horton, Heather (Joe) Wooten, Ryan Potter and Heather Miller; great-grandchildren, Brittni Souders, Jaelyn Bycofski, Ethan Horton, Dylan and Taylor Dougherty and Milani Andrade. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Ruthadell Potter and Mary Jean Miller.
Lee was born and raised in Fairfield County. He started his work career as a tenant farmer and building homes. He loved green machines and worked at Lifer Farm Supply on John Deere equipment for many years before changing careers and working for Ruscilli’s Construction until retirement.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Thursday, January 4th from 1 – 3 and 5 – 7 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort Street, Bremen, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday with one hour prior visitation in the funeral home with Rev. Chuck Wheatley officiating. Burial services will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 351 Coonpath Road, Lancaster, Ohio.
