Alma Belle Ricket

Alma Belle (Grove) Ricket, 85, of Bremen, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in LanFair Nursing Home. She was born June 26, 1927 to Harry and Eska (Rutherford) Grove. Alma was a graduate of Rushcreek Memorial High School and a life-long resident of Bremen. She married her late husband, Ralph Ricket on December 7, 1946. She was a life-long member of the Bremen-Bethel Presbyterian Church. Alma worked as a cook at Rushcreek Memorial High School and later Fairfield Union School District from 1960 until her retirement in 1985. Alma is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ralph Ricket; her parents; brother, Ray Grove; and sisters, Alice Jane and Betty Grove. She is survived by her children, Robert Ricket, Susan (Michael) Henwood and James (Marcia) Ricket; grandchildren, David (Jill) Henwood, Elizabeth Henwood, Molly (Brian) Oliver, Allison Ricket, Ashley Ricket and Abby Ricket; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Nicholas Henwood and Kaela Ricket; many nieces,nephews and friends.
Calling hours will be Thursday, July 19 from 5 to 8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, 124 Fort Street, Bremen. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at Grandview Cemetery in Bremen. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be to Bremen-Bethel Presbyterian Church, 142 Purvis Ave., Bremen, Ohio 43107.
