Alice Irene (Paskins) Fisher, 82, a longtime resident of Crossenville, died Sunday, March 1, 2015. She was born March 24, 1932 in Rosedale, Ohio the daughter of the late Walter and Lowia (Ruscoe) Paskins. Alice attended Rushcreek Memorial High School and enjoyed her love of music by playing trumpet in the marching band.
Alice is survived by her sons, Douglas, Reno (Kim), and Travis Fisher Sr.; 11 grandchildren, Laquitta Ladlee, Jamaica McGraw, Morningstar Fisher, Dakota Fisher, Jessica McGee, Jagger Fisher, Holly Saygrover, Timmy Clark, Linda McMasters, TyAnna Fisher and Travie Fisher Jr.; 12 great-grandkids; sisters-in-law, Ilene Hochradel, Virginia and Betty Paskins; brother,Walter (Tom) Paskins; daughter-in-law, Cheryl McGraw; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jane E. Morgan and Karen Layne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Eugene Fisher; grandson, Jamaica McGraw; siblings, Emerson Paskins, Rhea McCarthy, James Paskins, Phoebie Lynch, Walter, Henry “Joe”, Richard, Stanley and Roger Paskins and her lovable dog, Cuddles.
A special thanks to her nephew, Eddie Dunham and to all the friends and neighbors in Crossenville whom she dearly appreciated.
A time to visit with Alice’s family will be Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will take place Thursday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Graveside services will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.
