Nancy La Verne Hartman

Nancy La Verne Hartman, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born May 13, 1935 in Lancaster, Ohio the daughter of Herbert and Esther Mae (Hayden) Soles. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School and had worked as head bookkeeper at the Farmer Citizens Bank, Rushville and Hocking Valley Bank. She also worked with her husband and son, Rick helping out at William Hartman and Son Stables Standardbred Racing Horses. She was a member of Eternal Water United Brethren Church.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Gary) Arnett; son, Rick (Tami) Hartman; grandchildren, Misty (Eric Bolyard) Arnett, Jennifer (Ramiro Gonzalez) Arnett, Angie (TJ) Minks and Kaitie Hartman; great-grandchildren, Madilynn Arnett, Devin Hutchinson, Jayden and Rylan Minks; brothers, Robert (Becky) and Jack Soles; sister-in-law, Karen Purcell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William Richard Hartman on March 16, 1992.
A time to visit with the family with take place Saturday, March 20th from 10 AM til 12PM at the Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will take place at 12 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Rocky Layne officiating. Graveside services will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
